Overview
The SPC indication and control devices can be used to signal the status of elements of the system or to control elements of the system, they can also be used on blocking devices for keypads to enhance security.
SPCE110
SPCE110 - Keyswitch
The SPCE110.100 is a universal key switch expander with 2 tri-color LEDs, a 3-position key switch and buzzer. The freely programmable user interface indicates the configured status information with LEDs (e.g. key switch position, area setting states) and enables activation of application specific processes by changing the key switch position (e.g. unlock keypad or indication expander, setting of an area, open or close a gate). The expander also provides one freely programmable volt free relay output with either NO or NC terminal.
The devices are wired to the xbus and once online can be configured through the web page or other programming interfaces.
Programming the SPCE110 - Keyswitch
The SPCE120 has two modes of operation Linked and Flexibility, in Linked mode, the device is paired with a keypad and once a user enters a valid code the buttons can be used to toggle arming.
Flexibility mode
This mode can be enabled on any indication device by selecting "Flexibility mode" once enabled a range of options will appear including
- Function key definition
- Location - This is the area the device is located and is important in order to control when a delayed exit is used, a delayed exit will occur if the device is in the same area as it is arming.
- Visual indication
- Audible Indication
- Deactivation
- Input
Function keys
In this mode, you can define what action you wish to take on which area
The functions available are
- Unset
- Partset A
- Partset B
- Fullset
- Toggle Unset / Fullset
- Toggle Unset / Partset A
- Toggle Unset / Partset B
- All Okay
- Setting authorization
- Delay Fullset
Visual Indications
In this mode, you can define the function of each LED, all LEDs can follow any virtual output on the system and the state of the LED can be defined for On or Off.
For each state the LED can be
- Off
- On
- Flash - Slow
- Flash - Medium
- Flash - Fast
The color can also be defined as
- amber
- green
- red
Audible Indications
In this mode, you can define the control when the buzzer will activate
Deactivation
In this mode, you can define when access to the device will be disabled you can use the following options to disable the device
- Mapping Gate
- key switch
- Keypad
- Calendar
- Card read - this uses the card reader built into the device
SPCE120 - Indication and control
The SPCE120.100 is a universal display expander with 16 tri-color LEDs, 4 keys, integrated card reader and buzzer. In the linked mode with a keypad, the LEDs indicate the status of 4 areas in one glance and the areas can be directly set or unset with the assigned function keys. In flexible mode the freely programmable user interface indicates the configured status information with LEDs (e.g. open zones, area setting states) and enables activation of application specific processes by pressing the assigned function keys (e.g. setting of an area, open or close a gate). With the integrated card reader, the indication or operation can be enabled for authorized users only by presenting a valid proximity card. The expander also provides one freely programmable zone which can be configured for different zone monitoring requirements.
The devices are wired to the xbus and once online can be configured through the web page or other programming interfaces.
Programming the SPCE120 - Keyswitch
The SPCE120 Keyswitch has the following options
- Name - For identification
- Latch
- Area - The location of the module
Note* this is import as if you are arming an area then the delay will only be used if the module is in the same area otherwise arming is immediate.
- Visual indications
- Deactivation
- Output Control
- Key Functions
Latch
- Latch
- Latch time - The time the key must be in position before triggering
Visual indications
The LEDs cna be configured to display the status of elements within the system, this can follow the area status or many other options.
Deactivation
You can control when this device is active by using the Cause and effect logic or by restricting using a calendar
Output
The Output of the key switch can be configured to use any virtual output on the SPC system
Functions
You can configure the key switch to perform a number of functions on the system
- None
- Unset
- Partset A
- Partset B
- Fullset
- Toggle Unset / Fullset
- Toggle Unset / Partset A
- Toggle Unset / Partset B
- All Okay
- Setting authorization
- Shunt
Interopability
Enhance the privacy and security of your devices by preventing access to the device if certain conditions are not meet. This uses the SPC custom programming system and can be used with the following devices
